Christ the Solid Rock Ministries and in particular Broken Arrow Youth Ranch was created to minister to families in distress. Adults overwhelmed  with personal issues find it extremely difficult to properly care for their children.

The mandate of Broken Arrow Youth Ranch is to come along side and receive children for a minimum of two years.  The reason for that length of time is two fold:.

1.  It allows children an opportunity to receive a measure of stability. security and routine  to their life.

2. It allows their caregiver(s) opportunity to work through the valleys of recovery, establish a stable home environment and be strengthened emotionally to take on the challenge of raising children.

Unless there is a pre-existing condition that necessitates special consideration - upon  receiving a child - Broken Arrow Youth Ranch assumes responsibility for their nutritional, medical, physical, social  and educational needs.

All medical, educational and social records are to be disclosed so that each child can be properly assessed and cared for.

We are a faith based organization, therefore children will be taught to pray, have daily devotionals and be taken to church.

We are rural based so children will be interacting with farmyard animals [dogs, cats, horses, cows etc.]

Visitation is strongly encouraged to ensure relationship ties remain strong. Each situation will be tailored to meet the needs of all involved.  In some cases supervised visits will be a requirement until deemed unnecessary.

Solid Rock Ministries believes the guardians should bear some responsibility for costs related to their children’s care.  This would include all monies received from government or other agency that is specifically designated for the children who are received by Solid Rock Ministries.   As well, we believe guardians should personally contribute something towards the cost of caring for their children.
